Can I travel in the van with the driver to my destination?

Yes you can. If you wish to travel in the van with the driver, please let us know when making your booking.

 

What if I book a man and van for 2 hours and the job takes longer?

If your job takes longer than expected, you will only be charged per 15 minutes at your standard hourly rate.

 

Will I be charged if I need to cancel my man and van or change the date?

If you need to cancel your man and van for any reason, simply give us a call and we will be happy cancel your booking at no cost whatsoever.

 

I need to collect the keys for my new property from the agent on the way, is this possible?

Yes. If you need to stop at the agents to collect keys or sign paperwork, simply let us know at the time of booking and we will be happy to do a stop off for you.

 

Can I book a man with a van at a fixed price?

If you are able to send us an exact list of your items to be moved, we will be happy to provide you with a fixed price for this.

 

How do i pay for the service?

You are welcome to pay via cash, bank transfer, or card. If you would like to pay in cash, this can be given to the driver at the end of the move. If you would like to pay via bank transfer a deposit or the full amount would need to be paid at least 24 hours before the move is due to take place. There is also a card machine in the vans if you would like to make a card payment (2% surcharge). Please advise on your preference for this at the time of booking.  

Can i amend the date or time of service?

Yes, but you will need to contact us at least 24 hours before the arranged date and time, to make any changes. This is also based on subject to availability.

 

Can I move at the weekend?

Yes, our drivers operate 7 days a week from 7am till 10pm. We do not charge extra on the weekend Same rates all week!

 

Will you arrange the parking permits?

NO, parking is the sole responsibility of the customer. All customers are obligated to arrange parking permit for the van or pay for any metered parking. We can provide vehicle details before the date of service, if needed. If you don't provide parking permit or pay for metered parking, then you are obligated to pay Penalty Charge Notice in the event of one being received.

 

Do you charge more for services at the weekend?

No, we do not charge more at the weekend. We have the same rates throughout the whole week.

 

Are my goods insured?

YES. Our Goods in Transit insurance cover up to £10000. We are not liable for the first £250.00 per claim.
Claims must be reported at the time of occurrence, no claim will be accepted after the payment has been made and London removals Team has left the site. It is customer's responsibility to ensure extra insurance is arranged if required. Goods will be protected only by our insurer, if you have provided a valued inventory and have requested for "London Removals Team" to prepare and adequately protect all items for transport. Do you dismantle/assemble furniture?

YES. We can provide basic dismantle & assemble service for you. All our vans are equipped with the basic tools. If unusual tools are required, you will need to provide them yourself. We do not undertake any task which require attaching of items to walls i.e Televisions, pictures.

 

Will you carry goods to any floor/room?

Yes, our team will take your goods up to wherever you need to place them.
 

Should I tip the driver?

Only if you think so. The driver holds 100% of tips.
